Leahwas born in Detroit, Michigan and was educated in the Detroit Public School System, graduating from Mumford High School.

Leah had the passion to become an Entrepreneur early in her life as she decided to form a business with her mother by obtaining a building and starting their first business called “The Hat Room”. Her desire to focus on personal styling was obvious as their business continued to flourish for several years, servicing the Detroit area in providing ever so popular Hat styles and designs.

Leah never lost her desire for style and fashion, so she decided to enhance her skillset by obtaining her certificate in the area of Personal Image Consulting. It was here that she began to take on clientele that were requiring someone to develop a look and style that would drive them towards success in multiple different areas of the entertainment world.

Leah met her husband Floyd and was married at the early age of twenty-three and will be celebrating twenty years of marriage this coming year. The Lord blessed them with two beautiful children, Floyd III and Leah Sava’.

After the birth of their first child, Leah decided to venture off into a totally different area of interest. She obtained her physical training certificate and started her next business venture, Body & Tone Personal Training Studio, servicing people in the community with her personal training skills concentrating on changing the lives of women by giving them back the confidence and vitality they desired. She once again showed her dedication and interest as her business continued to thrive for several years and was only affected by the oncoming of her second child Leah Sava’.

Leah always had the ability to see the best in her children, watching them act out different scenes on television and noticing their vibrant personalities. She took the chance and started to attend different conferences in which she met talent agents that were looking for what they determined to be “cute kids”. Her son began to get involved in modeling and print-work and then stepped into the area of commercials. He has worked to build his resume by appearing in several different print ad campaigns, commercials, and voice-over spots.

It seems that what she saw in her children was true as her daughter’s vibrant personality began to catch the eye of the social media arena. After a photo surfaced of her and her daughter showing their natural hair look, a national hair care company approached her requesting that her child become a child ambassadorfor the organization. From here, the YouTube tutorial for Carol’s Daughter was created which helped in affording her daughter the opportunity to be a part of the company’s marketing campaign for their CD4 Kids hair care line.

It wasn’t long before talent agencies began to take note and approached her about her children beginning to audition for different roles in broadcast television and commercials. In 2015 herdaughter Leah Sava’ was afforded the enormous opportunity to be cast for a role on the exciting Fox Television series entitled “Empire”. Leah now found it necessary to take on the role of Manager for her two children’s thriving careers. The entertainment industry has now come face to face with the Jeffries brand name and Leah’s entrepreneurial talent continues to be expounded upon.

One would think that the heavy task of managing two children in the entertainment industry, maintaining the role of mother and wife would be enough for one person to deal with, but not Leah. She continues to move forward and has now stepped into the radio personality arena, as she hosts her own radio show “The Leah Live Show” on 910AM “The Superstation”.

One can only imagine what lies ahead for Leah, the Manager, Radio Personality, and all around SuperMom! She has a full plate, but you better believe that her thought process will be focused as she lives by the term “only God knows what the future holds”.
