Call to Order
Chairman Don Wright called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. Gloria Robins called the roll. Don Wright welcomed Chuck Dodson and Teri Bethge to the Commission.
Financial Report
Richard Davies presented the financial report and gave a brief history of the Board to the new commissioners.

Selection of Inductees
The board nominated the following performers to be inducted into the Hall of Fame: Performing - Ronnie Dunn, John Michael Talbolt, Lisa Blount, Barbara Hendrix, Beth Brickell, George Newbern, Walter Norris; Non-Performing - John Grisham; Posthumous - William Grant Still, Freeman Owen; Pioneer - Steve Stephens; Governor's Award to be selected from the above list. Chairman Wright asked the board to send by May 20 their preference or any additional names to Gloria Robins. The final selection will be made at the June 24 meeting.
Jim Porter moved to look into doing the next induction ceremony during the 2003 Legislative Session. Teri Bethge seconded and the motion carried.
Miscellaneous
Jim Porter moved to nominate Kathy Wheatley as Chairman for 2002. Chuck Dodson seconded and the motion carried.
Teri Bethge moved to nominate Don Christian as 2002 Vice Chairman. Kathy Wheatley seconded and the motion carried.
Teri Bethge moved to nominate Pam Jones as an ex-offico of to the Entertainers Hall of Fame Board. Don Christian seconded and the motion carried.
The Board congratulated Pam Jones on her appointment, Kathy Wheatley as 2002 Chairman, and Don Christian as 2002 Vice-Chairman.
