The Book Fair is set up in the Library and taking place Tuesday – Friday, November 14-17 (closing at 11:30 am Friday).

Magazine Campaign: Thank you to all for another successful magazine campaign. Please keep in mind that purchases can be made online at QSP.ca at any time during the school year using Englewood School, and a credit will be made to our account.

Grade 7-9 Band Parents, please note: The Victoria Playhouse has been booked as the venue for this year's Wind Ensemble Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 20th at 7:00. A moving crew will be required to move gear from the school to the venue, and return gear to the school that evening. More information will follow.

Englewood's Elementary Christmas Concert will be held on Wednesday, December 13th at 7:00 in the school's gymnasium. Please mark this date on your calendar.

The UPEI Wind Symphony (of which Mrs. Sorensen is a member) will be performing on Friday, November 24 at Park Royal United Church in Charlottetown at 7:30. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors. The featured work is Johan DeMeij's "Lord of the Rings Symphony No.1."

Baked Potato Fundraiser:

The Baked Potato Hot Lunch is a fundraiser for the Gr. 9 class end-of-year trip. Potatoes can be ordered on the Hot Lunch site( for $2. The potato comes with butter only. If your child enjoys extra toppings, they can bring those extras from home.

Monday, November 20th is the next date that baked potatoes will be served.

Reminder: Bricks 4 Kidzlast day is November 30 (2:50-4:00pm). On November 16, Bricks 4 Kidz will meet in the French room, as the Book Fair is set up in the library.

South Shore Curling Program (2017-2018)

You can still register at the Curling Club. The fee is $97 for Junior Novice and ages include 6 years and older. The first day of curling will be Monday, November 20th from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. (Parents pick up at 4:30 pm please.)

Children under 13 are required to wear a helmet and all must have clean sneakers, gloves and warm clothes. Brooms and sliders will be supplied.

Students will be transported to the curling rink by school bus – a note is required stating that your child will be taking part in the curling program every Monday.

Volunteers are needed – curling experience is not necessary.

Wheatley River Christmas Craft Fair

The annual Wheatley River Christmas Craft fair will take place Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9am - 3:30pm at the Wheatley River Hall located at 16 Rackhams Lane. Admission is $2 at the door, free for children 12 years and under. A wonderful array of crafts will be offered for sale including: creams, crocheting, honey, jewellery, knitwear, paintings, preserves, rugs, sewing, woodwork and wreaths. There will be a 50/50 draw.
