Report
Please report to the Meeting Manager at officials’ reception in the Lecture room where you will sign in, leave your completed expenses form and collect your accreditation and a programme. Refreshments will then be available in the Sports Hall. Please notify your Chief/Referee of your arrival. Your chief/referee will conduct a briefing at the start of the meeting, please arrive ideally at least 90 minutes before the first event and in the case of Call Room personnel by 8.30.
Refreshments
Light refreshments (drinks and biscuits) are available throughout the day, and a packed lunch will be provided for collection during the morning (please advise the England Athletics office if you have any special dietary requirements). There will be a vegetarian option.
Withdrawal
If you have to withdraw for any reason, please contact your Chief directly, and inform the England Athletics Office or Andrew Clatworthy.
Expenses
Travel expenses will be reimbursed at the rate of 0.40p per mile for the first 300 miles then 20p mile up to 600 miles. Car sharing 45p per mile for the first 300 miles then 25p mile up to 600 miles: Claim forms should be handed in on arrival. Payment by cheque/BACS will be sent out by the England Office as soon as possible.
Dress
Officials should wear navy blue trousers, white England Athletics polo shirt, with a navy or black sweater or fleece if necessary and black shoes. Starters should wear red polo shirts. All officials should withdraw from the centre of the arena when not actually officiating.
Car Parking
A car park pass is attached is enclosed for both days and it must be shown on arrival and left clearly visible.
Accommodation
Accommodation has been reserved for those who have previously requested it at Cranfield Management Development Centre (Sat Nav MK43 0HG). There will be a buffet meal on Saturday evening.
Set-Up Friday
It may be necessary for Chiefs and other officials to check and inspect equipment and to attend a briefing/technical meeting. This meeting will take place at Cranfield Management Development Centre at 19.30pm, a meal will then be provided at 20.30pm. Please check with the office if you are not sure whether accommodation has been reserved or required.
England Athletics cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred in the event of the cancellation or postponement of the meeting nor can it be responsible for any loss or injury at any of its promotions.
