Engineering Bursary

To support all students who wish to study with us starting September 2018 we have secured a bursary for all students studying full-time undergraduate Engineering programmes.

This bursary will providefree accommodation for one academic year.

Terms and conditions

This Bursary will be allocated to students who meet the eligibility criteria at the time of allocation. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that the free accommodation bursary will be allocated, as there are limited numbers available.

The Engineering bursary:

i)applies for 2018 entry only;

ii)applies only to students studying full-time undergraduate Engineering programmes;

iii)the definitive list of applicable programmes is:

1. BEng (Hons) Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering
2. BEng (Hons) Aircraft Maintenance (top-up year)
3. BEng (Hons) Automotive Engineering
4. BEng (Hons) Composite Design (top-up year)
5. BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering
6. BEng (Hons) Automation Engineering
7. BEng (Hons) Industrial Engineering
8. BEng (Hons) Renewable and Sustainable Engineering

iv)is not transferable if the student transfers to another non-Engineering programme or another year of entry;

v)is subject to room availability;

vi)applies only to the Student Village accommodation provided by the University;

vii)provides 40 weeks accommodation, to be allocated at the discretion of the University;

viii)has no cash alternative;

ix)applies to applicants who apply and to have accepted their offer as ‘firm’ at the University by 27 July 2018, meet all the conditions of the offer and to have confirmed their enrolment with Glyndwr University by 31 August 2018.

x)the University reserves the right to withdraw the bursary from any student who has misled the University about any aspect of their application or eligibility for an award;
