After completion of this course, you will be able to:
· Describe the goals of Electronic Multi-Port Fuel Injection and how those goals are achieved.
· Describe the various Inputs and Outputs of the 3 different EFI systems in Hyundai OBD-II compliant vehicles.
· Determine whether the Inputs and Outputs are functioning normally and diagnose problems associated with them using the HDS machine and the Hi-Scan Pro.
· Demonstrate your understanding of what OBD-II is and how it can benefit the technician in diagnosing problems within the Engine Management System.
· Demonstrate your understanding of the reasons why Evaporative Emission Controls are necessary.
· Demonstrate your understanding of the basic theory of the various Evaporative Emission systems installed in Hyundai vehicles.
· Demonstrate your understanding of the terminology associated with Evaporative Emission systems.
· Demonstrate your ability to locate any Evaporative Emission system component in any late model Hyundai vehicle.
· Demonstrate your ability to use the proper diagnostic tools in locating and repairing conditions within the Evaporative Emissions Systems.
