IMS HEOR Consulting

IMS HEOR Consulting is led by scientists with up to thirty years consulting and research experience in pharmacy, medicine, health economics, health policy, outcomes research, pricing, and market access. We offer clients in pharmaceutical and related industries a unique combination of strategic consulting; rigorous, methodologically sound research; and targeted, market-savvy value strategy and communications capabilities. We are one of a few firms that integrate health economics, outcomes research, pricing and market access with senior staff involved in each project from start to finish.

Engagement Managers at IMS HEOR

IMS HEOR Engagement Managers are expected to share our commitment to continuously improve our practice, improve and develop methodologies, and identify new and innovative solutions for clients. Engagement Managers work collaboratively with clients to design high-quality, strategically-oriented, evidenced-based solutions, and lead project teams in the timely and efficient delivery to the client. In order to further support our client’s goals and promote our focus on sound science and research, Engagement Managers often develop publication-ready manuscripts, abstracts, and posters for submission to top-tier journals and conferences. In addition, Engagement Managers work with Principals to identify and develop new opportunities to promote IMS HEOR in the global market.

Successful HEOR Engagement Managers will be flexible team players with an interest in proactively identifying solutions to problems. Engagement Managers communicate scientific information and research results to a broad audience through a variety of media, and must be able to do so professionally and effectively in English. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required. In addition, Engagement Managers might utilize software packages such as Visual Basic, Reference Manager, SAS, TreeAge and other statistical packages, and working knowledge of such programs is beneficial.

IMS HEOR Engagement Manager’s education and experience

IMS HEOR Engagement Managers typically need a Master’s or other advanced degree in Economics, Statistics/Biostatistics, Public Health, Pharmaceutical Administration, Epidemiology, or related field and at least seven years academic or professional experience. However, substantial professional HEOR experience could substitute for an advanced degree.
