Online Presence Management

TEAM CASE STUDY DIRECTIONS

In your assigned team, complete the Online Presence Management case study using the National Advisory Board (NAB) Company assigned to your track.

Prepare a 1-page executive summary that will be submitted between 3pm – 6pm in the Kips Bay room on Friday, November 10, 2017, or via an email attachment to your Executive Officer Track Leader. Teams who submit their executive summary in person in the Kips Bay roomwill be able to print out their executive summary, including copies for all team members. Teams who submit via email and who do not come in person to Kips Bay during the 3pm-6pm window will not be given printed copies.Your executive summary should include, at a minimum, the following information at the top of the page: Name of Track | Team # | Names of Team Members.

Dedicated time has been allocated to work with your team members on the case. During the preparation of your case study recommendations, we encourage you to use the information and resources you received during Friday tours and presentations, as well as your online research.

Team presentations will take place on Saturday, November 11,2017beginning at 8:30am. Please see your program for specific locations. All teams/team members must be in your designated presentation room for all of the team presentations in your group. Presentation times will be drawn randomly Saturday morning.

TEAM CASE STUDY PRESENTATION BRIEFING

Teams are allowed to present for up to 5 minutes, which is inclusive of any questionsthe judges may have, and your time to answer. Teams may use handouts, diagrams, or visual aids, although these are not required. The use of a projector is strictly prohibited.

The judge will have yourone-page Executive Summary, which was previously prepared and submitted.

All other teams will be present in the room during the team presentations, yet will remain silent. This is not a time to work on your individual presentation. The other teams may not participate in the question and answer portion of the presentation.

There will be a 5-minute break for judging between each presentation. The teams will be randomly called to present. At that time, the team will have 5 minutes to approach the judges and get ready to present.

An executive officer,or designee, will be the time-keeper. With 1-minute left in the presentation, the time-keeperwill stand up. When time is over the time-keeperwill ask you to stop.

After all teams have presented, the entire group will participate in a debriefing with the judges. You will have an opportunity to ask the judges general questions.
