1) Communication systems:

  • Course in VSAT SYSTEMS (DAMA 10000) held by STM Wireless company in Irvine, California USA in the period from 13/9/1998 to 25/9/1998. The course includes theoretical background of Satellite communication systemsand VSAT networks and practical implementation and configuration of the VSAT system with the NMS network management software (NMS works on a Solaris Sun system & Oracle database).
  • Course in Microwave Radio Systems organized by Jordan University of Science and Technology in cooperation with the University of Ottawa held in the period Dec. 18-22,1993. The course includes the concepts and principles of microwave radio systems with the emphasis on propagation, modulation (mostly digital) and interference.

2) Computer networks and operating systems:

  • Introduction & Advanced UNIX Administration on Data General systems .
  • Advanced SCOUNIX Administration on Intel machines.
