DAILY DETAILS:
QUIET HOUSE(24 hours-a-day)begins SATURDAY, December 16 at 8:00 am. The house environment must be conducive to studying at all times (noise levels must remain low). No sleepovers during exam weekend. Parietals allowed on the weekend, but not during the week. Only blue slips allowed if you are with your parent/guardian.
Lights-Out Times 12/17 - 12/21: Freshmen/sophomores in their own rooms at 10:45pm; juniors and seniors in their own rooms at 11:00pm. Lights out for all is midnight. The house is completely silent at 11:00.
Study hall and study snacks: Study hall will commence as usual during exam week (except Thursday night once exams are complete). Study snacks will be available after study hall within the Stu-Fac at 9:30 pm.
White & Blue Slips: Freshmen and sophomores may not white slip during exam weekend or exam week unless with a parent, advisor, for a school-related reason, or if they are completely done with all work/exams. Juniors and seniors may white slip and/or blue slip. All students must be back on Thursday, December 21st at 2:00 pm for mandatory room cleaning.
Monday, 12/18 = Regular study hall (with study-snacks at 9:30 in the Stu-Fac); 10pm in-house. Everyone in their own rooms by 11pm; house is completely silent. Lights out for all is at midnight; no late nights. Please be quiet and respect those who have exams tomorrow!

Wednesday, 12/20 = Regular study hall (with birthday cakes for December birthdays at 9:30 in the Stu-Fac); 10pm in-house.
House Cleanup from 10-10:20pm.Everyone in their own rooms by 11pm; house is completely silent. Lights out for all is at midnight; no late nights. Please be quiet and respect those who have exams tomorrow!
Thursday, 12/21 = Senior Holiday Vespers 6:00 pm (5:30 pm appetizers; formal dress). Performance at 7:00 pm. Senior Reception (for seniors only) at Rick’s following the performance.
All freshmen, sophomores and juniors in house at 9pm for the night. Regular lights-out time.
Friday, 12/22 = Very light breakfast served in Stu-Fac at 9:00am. Houses close at noon; please contact Annie Bailey if you need to stay beyond 12 noon on December 22nd.

Unless otherwise instructed, all exams for all students are in the room where class is held. Extended time exams extend one hour past the typical exam end time; students must discuss extended time with their teacher prior to the exam.
HOUSE RELATED:
Minor House Clean up–Wednesday, 12/20, 10 - 10:20pm.All students should use this time to straighten up their rooms, complete house jobs and begin packing.
MAJOR House Clean Up -REQUIREDin ALL houses, Thursday, 12/21, 2:00 - 4:00pm (students may not leave until 4)or such time thatthe house faculty approves of if in a conflict exam:
• Empty and clean refrigerators (not freezers) • Empty trash (outside in dumpster)
• Vacuum room and common areas • Leave doors open to let heat circulate; lock windows
• Pick everything (chairs, trash can, etc) up off floor so maintenance can clean over break
• Turn off power strips to any electronic device and unplug small appliances (hair dryers, etc)
• Pack (leave out formal Vespers clothing)
Final Check-Out - Students must check out and have rooms inspected before leaving campus. Work jobs will be assigned to all room occupants if a room is left in poor condition.
