1.Please provide the anticipated length of the video, if known at this time.

Answer:The anticipated length of the finished video is 10 minutes.

2.Page 6 of the RFP discusses the intended screening of the video at conferences. Are

there other audience/venues expected to be used? If so, please provide them.

Answer: The intent is not to “screen” the video at conferences listed on page 6 of the RFP. The conferences listed were examples of the types of audiences/venues where the finished video will be used.

3.Is there a target end-date for completion of this project? Page 9 of the RFP mentions, “…each proposed funding year…”. Is it anticipated that the project will take more than one year?

Answer: Yes, the target end-date for completion of this project will be June 30, 2015. It is not anticipated that the project will take more than one year.

4.How long do you estimate the finished video running (10 minutes, 30-minutes, etc)?

Answer: The anticipated length of the finished video is 10 minutes.

5.In addition to the video DVDs, what other deliverables are required in this RFP?

Answer: At this time it is anticipated that the required deliverables will include the following:

  • Work closely with the Employment First Collaborative Team which will serve as the project’s Advisory Committee;

7.Do you want the video translated into any other languages and do you want any subtitles, closed-captions or open-captions?

Answer: Decisions regarding animations, graphics, etc. within the video will be driven by the Advisory Committee with oversight by the Program Manager.

9.What is the timeline for overall completion of this project?

Answer: See item 3 above.

10.This RFP is centered on production of a video. One would surmise that the work would be concluded upon delivery of the 10 DVDs. Yet it also seems to require that the successful contractor provide data on outcomes and how change has been effected. Given the contractor will have no control on how (and how often and to which audiences) the participating organizations will use the video, how is this possible?

Answer: The Provider will not be responsible for post-contract data collection. The post-contract data collection items for this project will be implemented by the FDDC. However, the proposal should discuss how your work process and final product will incorporate the goals of the project and contribute to meeting the listed outcomes.

11.The RFP refers to “sustainability” and suggests the contractor might have responsibilities

beyond “year one”. Again, it could be surmised that the contract would conclude with delivery of the final DVDs (i.e. this being a production job, not an ongoing program or campaign). What precisely would be expected of the successful contractor beyond delivery of the final DVDs? And what are your expectations of the contractor regarding sustainability?

Answer: The Provider will not be responsible for sustainability of this project. The post-contract sustainability items for this project will be implemented by the FDDC.

12.There is no mention of projected length for the video – which would be an important determinant of cost. Can you advise of anticipated length desired for this video?

Answer: The anticipated length of the finished video is 10 minutes.

13.The RFP states that all interviewing and videotaping of representatives of the participating organizations will be done in Tallahassee. Can all necessary “b-roll” (aka, background footage) also be captured in Tallahassee or is it anticipated that out-of-town location shooting may be necessary?

Answer: No, travel beyond Tallahassee is not anticipated.

14.The RFP list several conferences and events at which presentations (and showing of the video) have been requested. Is it the responsibility of the contractor to identify other possible presentations (and/or schedule those) or will that responsibility rest with the participating organizations?

Answer: No, it is not the responsibility of the Provider to identify or schedule presentations. This responsibility will rest with the participating agencies and organizations.
