Employer Project Proposal

The Victorian Chamber of Commerce established the Internship program to help graduates gain the employability skills required by business. We provide participating members with financial assistance to support the cost of employingan intern. The opportunity on offer is part of this program.

Project hours / 120 hours for all Victorian Chamber Internship projects. Any hours in addition to 120 will be external to the program.

Ideally the project duration will be no longer than 8 to 12 consecutive weeks.
Ideally, leave a lead time of one month between submitting your proposal and your interns start date.The university requires at least two weeks to post your opportunity, attract student interest and undertake preliminary shortlisting. We typically send up to four candidates for review.

Employment status / Please remove the status that will not apply:
  • Casual (includes 25% loading in lieu of part-time entitlements)
  • Part-time (accrues leave)

Hours of work / Please provide an indication of the hours and days of work i.e. 9 am – 4 pm Monday through Tuesday inclusive. Students are typically available for two days per week during semester and up to full time during winter and summer breaks.
Field of study / Please provide any desired field of study (business, arts, law, science, etc.) and qualification level (2nd or 3rd year undergraduate student, post graduate, master’s students, etc.)
