EMPLOYEE UNIFORM POLICY

All employees within the Donated Goods Division shall wear uniforms in order to present a positive, uniformed and professional image to the community. Work attire must be clean, neat, and well-maintained at all times. The store dress code includes a name tag as well, so associated can be easily identified. Your appearance communicates or image, and what we stand for as a brand. The following guidelines will apply:

•All Goodwill employees who work in the Donated Goods Division will be required to wear the following on their scheduled work days:

oNavy Blue Goodwill T-shirt.

oNavy blue polo shirt, short or long sleeve with employee name tag can be worn as an alternate to the T-shirt.

oVests are required for assisting donors and will be provided at store.

oBlue Denim Jeans/skirt or Khaki pants/skirt (long skirts only)

oClosed-toe shoes (steel toed if operating a stacker)

•All Jeans must be a light or dark blue denim- no colored jeans, verbiage or name brands written on Jeans, no artwork, holes, fraying, stains or tears.

•Yoga pants, spandex, Lycra material are not to be worn.

•No caps or hats are to be worn on the retail sales floor. Associates scheduled in the backroom may only wear a Goodwill brand cap (purchased by associate).

•Pants or jeans are not supplied to associates and is the associate’s responsibility.

•Two (2) Goodwill Navy Blue T-shirts will be supplied to all store associates on their year anniversary date at no charge. Employees will have the options of buying new T-Shirts through a payroll deduction.

•Once issued, it is the employees’ responsibility to clean the T-Shirts.

•It is the employee’s responsibility to maintain their uniform. All assigned uniforms shall be kept clean and in good repair.

•All employees must not be in Goodwill uniform when shopping in order to avoid any negative public perception.

•Any employee arriving to work in unacceptable uniform conditions will be sent home.

•Failure to comply will result in corrective action, up to and including termination of employment.

VIOLATION OF THIS POLICY COULD RESULT IN TERMINATION OF THE EMPLOYEE AND THE MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL INVOLVED.

I have read and understand the Goodwill Employee Uniform Policy. I agree to adhere to this policy and I understand that violation of this policy could result in termination of my employment with Goodwill.
