Staff Functions and Responsibilities

Instructions

Role

Primary – You are the initial contact and/or primary person responsible for that function. You identify when assistance is needed and oversee others who help with this responsibility.

Assist – You assist the Primary contact as requested; units typically contact the Primary and then he/she requests your assistance as needed.

Back-Up – When the Primary is out, you serve as the official back-up to perform those functions in his/her absence. When there is excess work, you handle the overflow.
