This assessment tool may be used at any time to evaluate an individual’s knowledge, skills, and abilities in accomplishing their responsibilities for the position identified above. Generally, an assessment should be accomplished at least annually. The purpose of this assessment process is to identify performance levels as it relates to the competencies for the position; to determine and demonstrate that the staff member has the requisite knowledge, skills and ability to perform the necessary functions of the role; to identify where performance does and does not meet expectations; to offer opportunities for improvement; and to develop goals that assist in promoting performance improvement in commitment, honesty, excellence, communication, service leadership and the Kingdom focus. This tool is not all encompassing in the description of this role and does not limit the need for other duties to be accomplished as well. Such additional duties can be recognized as an addendum to this main document for the position.

Organizational Relationships:

The Senior Pastor shall meet with the Deacons to assess his performance against the position description, and to set goals for personal and professional growth.
