Emerging Leaders Program Scholarship for Rural Members
· As part of its commitment to supporting its members from small and rural councils, LG Professionals SA is pleased to provide a scholarship fund to facilitate participation in the Emerging Leaders Program
· The scholarship will cover all or a portion of the program fee for a participant / participants from small and regional councils
Criteria - eligibility
· Scholarship recipients must be employed in local government and work for a small or regional council.
· Scholarship recipients must be a LG Professionals SA member at the time of receiving the scholarship.
Expectations of scholarship recipients
· A profile on each recipient will be published on our website and in our newsletter. Information on what this profile will cover in terms of content will be provided by LG Professionals SA;
· The scholarship recipient must pass the course. Should the recipient not pass, it is expected that the funds be returned.

Applicants will be notified if they are successful and provided further information by Friday 3 March.
Important: Due to the popularity of the ELP, a place will only be held for the successful scholarship applicant. If your participation is not contingent on the scholarship then we recommend you register online and hold payment until advice is given to avoid missing out.
