Food and Water Guidelines/Suggestions:

Water/Beverage

Two - Three 1 Quart bottles water (Mandatory)

(May use hydration pack, but need minimum 1 bottle)

Hot Chocolate, coffee singles, tea

Gatorade/ PowerAde Powder

Powdered milk for recipes

Food Guidelines:

Consider volume, bulk, durability of food

Repackage food in ziplock bags to cut down on volume in pack and in garbage

Do not wash dishes in streams or lakes

Hang up food bag when appropriate or use bear proof canister

Plan for 1-2 lbs. of food per person per day, need to eat all food
