July 2015 – Present: Projects Coordinator at British Council – Sudan:
1. EL Curriculum Reform Project (ELCRP) in English for Education Systems (EES) department:
· Managing all financial transactions and arrangements for the ELCRP team (International & national consultants, special advisors, writing team, artists, visiting consultants) and the project (venues, equipment, learning materials, etc.) , which includes (monthly payments, subsistence allowances, petty cash) , reconcile and record all financial transactions on delegated budgets on FABS / SAP.
· Managing the audio component for the SMILE series with support from the ELCRP manager. This includes; assigning performers for the recording, engaging in a good relationship with implementing companies (media production companies, sound engineers, performers)
· General coordination of ELCRP events; meetings, conference calls, transport, visits, etc.
· Organising and filing of ELCRP documents; contract registers, payments, incoming/outgoing memos, books.
2. Self-Access Learning (SAL) Project in English for Education Systems (EES) department:
• Expand British Council portfolio of self-access English language learning products
offered through online, mobile technology, print and broadcast media and working with UK partners for content, platforms and channels.
• Developed a successful partnership through agreements for promoting self-access English language learning products.
• Synergized between most of British Council programs and SAL.
• Marketing – social media focal point to EES department .
• Provided a general administrative support to (EES) staff : vendors payment , events coordinator , finance , logistics.
• Maintain budget monitoring and to process, reconcile and record all financial transactions on delegated budgets on FABS / SAP during the period of the current fiscal year.
• Sudan’s Coordinator for the Environmental Framework tool (EFT); manage the implementation of the EFT within the country by supporting environmental sustainability in the organisation and therefore across operations and programmes.

At OCRF I was responsible for providing general administrative support to office staff and was also specifically assigned to work in Pre-award and Evaluation programs:
Administrative Support:
• Managed the workflow for the approval of OCRF publications, from initial communication with external awardee, assignment to OCRF staff and final communication of approval to awardee. These tasks were performed using OCRF’s online management tools (WebEx for Publications).
• Prepared relevant key performance indicators data as required by the Program Evaluation Administrator for presentations.
• Set up and maintained both hard-copy and electronic files on an up-to-date basis.
Assigned to Pre-award & Evaluation Programs:
Similar to my current role as evaluation assistant within the VPR Office, I was responsible for organizing all pre-award activities for the launch of the competitive Strategic Research Initiative (SRI) program and for the mid-term evaluation of the OCRF Flagship programs (Special Partnership and Global Research Partnerships), from the invitation of potential reviewers and panelists through to logistical support for the meeting and post review actions. This involved working with the Program Administrator, OCRF Director, KAUST Finance and external academics. I also provided technical support for the development of a workflow for the electronic research administration system.
