Eligibility Criteria

APPLY FOR A SUBSIDY TO ATTEND CONFERENCE

Agencies for Nutrition Action (ANA) wishes to offer financial assistance for conference attendance to those from resource-limited settings and communities. We invite applications from those who have an abstract accepted for presentation.

Approved applicants will be awarded a subsidy in the form of a complimentary registration, and/or accommodation (excluding meals) at the conference venue, depending on need and availability of funding.

Eligibility criteria

1.  You must have an abstract accepted for presentation at the 6th National Nutrition and Physical Activity Conference.

2.  You work for a not-for-profit community group or organisation that is actively involved in improving nutrition and physical activity outcomes - or you are an un-waged /voluntary contributor to nutrition and physical activity outcomes.

3.  You have limited access to other sources of funding to attend the conference.

4.  Your organisation or community will benefit from your attendance at conference.

5.  You will attend the two full days of the conference and take information back for sharing and implementation within your organisation or community.

Conditions

·  The financial subsidy will be in the form of a complimentary full conference registration, and/or accommodation at the venue, depending on need.

·  There will be only one recipient for financial assistance per organisation or group.

·  ANA is able to support a limited number of applicants only.

·  Applications must be submitted for consideration by Friday February 27th 2015. Applicants will be advised of the outcome by Friday March 6th 2015.

·  ANA’s decision on successful applicants will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
