Lexmark T622 Printer Quick Guide

Paper output: 500 sheets max. Printer will pause when full. Remove sheets to continue printing where it left off.

Power button: Found on right side, next to power cord.

Operator Panel: Messages or errors are displayed here. Ready or Power Saver indicates the printer is powered on, and is ready to accept print jobs.

Toner: Press 1st button to open upper half of printer to expose the toner cartridge. To replace, please refer to instructions found in the new toner box.

Multi-Purpose Tray (MP Tray): Press 2nd button to open lower half of printer to feed envelopes, or other paper types. Adjust paper guides according to your paper size. Observe graphics on the tray for paper positions.

Duplexer: Allows printing on both sides of the paper.

Tray 1: 500 sheets max. This is the primary paper source. Pull center handle to load paper. Paper guide can be adjusted to various sizes, including executive, letter and legal. Please look carefully that the paper guide points to the correct size. Observe graphics on the tray for paper handling. If tray is filled over its capacity, the excess paper will be automatically rejected and you can pull these out to save for later.

Tray 2: 500 sheets max. When Tray 1 runs out of paper and you have the same paper size/type in Tray 2, the printer will automatically use Tray 2. Pull center handle to load paper. Paper guide can be adjusted to various sizes, including executive, letter and legal. Please look carefully that the paper guide points to the correct size. Observe graphics on the tray for paper handling. If tray is filled over its capacity, the excess paper will be automatically rejected and you can pull these out to save for later.

Tray 3: 2000 sheets max (photo not available). A high-capacity Tray 3 is installed directly under Tray 2. This tray will only work with letter size paper. Open the door from the right side to load paper. Press small white square button to lower the paper elevator. Add paper after elevator has stopped, and close the door to raise the paper.
