S6062-18/30Nm Series

Electric Control Valve Actuators

The S6062-18/30 series electric control valve actuator is designed to be compatible with the S6063 series 2-way or 3-way electric control valve.

Two models:

The S6062-18/30A: Analogue Model, 2~10V or 0~20mA and 4~20mA DC control signal, proportional control.

The S6062-18/30D: Digital Model

Incremental control

Features

The force of S6062-18A/D: 1800Nm, S6062-30A/D : 3000Nm.

The central gear adopts a roller that rotates around the centre shaft.

Direct-stroke pointer.

The circuit cuts off after 10 seconds when the actuator reaches the limit position to make sure under an open/closed status.

Attention

At normal temperaturethe grease on the actuator should be changed every 3 months.

At high temperaturethe grease on the actuator should be changed every 30 days.

The actuator should be protected from dripping water that could enter the housing and damage the mechanism or the motor.

The actuator must not be covered with insulating material.

Do not touch or disconnect the wire when the power is on.

Wiring Diagram

Mounting:

Loosen the screw and nut on the clipper.

Mount the actuator on the valve and tighten the nut.

Pull up the valve stem and fix it.

Mount the stem onto the actuator clipper tightly with the screw and nut.

It is recommended that the valve be mounted in the upright position in an accessible location.

Sufficient space should be left for actuator maintenance and detaching.

Wiring must be in accordance with the local regulations and national electrical codes.

S6062-18/30A Valve Actuator:

S1, S2 Dial Switch Function Instruction:

S1 Dial switch setting:

Position 1 OFF: voltage output signal ON: current output signal

Position 2 OFF: voltage input signalON: current input signal

S2 Dial Switch Setting:

Position 1:OFF:Equivalent-linearity flux characteristic.

ON:Equivalent-percentage characteristic.

Position 2OFF:Input/outputsignal start point is 0 (0-20mA or 0-10V)

ON:Input/output signal start point is 20%(4-20mA or 2-10V)

Position 3:OFF:RA Model

(As the control signal increases,

the actuator central shaft goes up)

ON:DA Model

(As the control signal increases,

the actuator central shaft goesdown)

Position 4

OFF:When the voltage input signal is cut,

the actuator central shaft will move to the top.

When the current input signal is cut,

the actuator central shaft will move to the bottom.

ON:When the voltage input signal is cut,

the actuator central shaft will move to the bottom.

When the current input signal is cut,

the actuator central shaft will move to the bottom.

Adjusting the Actuator:

  1. Follow the requirements for setting the dial switch and connect the power input/output signal.
  2. Press the “self-adaptation” button for 3 seconds.
  3. Check that the shaft operates up to the top, then operates down to the bottom and the indicator is flashing at the same time. After approximately 200 seconds the indicator stops flashing. The electronic control valve and the valve body self-adaptation processes are then complete.

Notice:Power supply 24VAC only.

Warning:For the input or output signals range you must repeat the self-adaptation process each time.

Manual Operation: S6062-18/30Nm

Turn off the actuator and the actuator’smain power supply switch.

Pull up the manual knob.

Turning the manual button clockwise makes the actuator shaft go down. Turning the manual button anticlockwise makes the actuator shaft go up.

After completing the adjusting process push the manual button in fully.

Turn on the actuator and the actuator’s main power supply switch.
