NOTES:

1 For the purpose of this election the definition of members of the teaching staff excludes the Faculty Pro Vice-Chancellor and the Heads of the academic departments.

2 Any member of the teaching staff who will be in post on nomination day (12 May 2017) is eligible for nomination.

3 Any member of the teaching staff who will be in post on nomination day may sign one nomination only. Each nomination requires the nominee’s written consent and must be signed by two members of the electorate in support of the nomination.

4 Each candidate is entitled to supply a summary of not more than 200 words relating to her/his candidature for subsequent distribution to electors together with the ballot papers. Any such summary must be addressed to the Returning Officer and be submitted with the completed nomination form or emailed to .

5 Nominations, addressed to the Returning Officer, must be received at Room L302, 3rd Floor, All Saints Building by not later than 4.30pm on Friday 12 May 2017. Scanned forms may be emailed to by the deadline as long as the original signed form follows in the post. Candidates are reminded that it is their individual responsibility to ensure that their nomination form is delivered by the closing time and date.
