EGGER: UPDATED WEBSITE FOR ENHANCED SERVICE

Service-oriented website – focus on individual customer benefits

The Tyrolean wood-based material manufacturer EGGER has improved its website, aligning it with the demanding requirements of distributors, fabricators and architects. EGGER is offering enhanced service and new functions to customers with the updated homepage going forward.

“We are aware of the high standards of our customers and their customers, as well as the associated rising demands for perfect service,” says Hubert Höglauer, Head of Marketing EGGER Group. “This is why we updated our website www.egger.com.” Key extensions and improvements encompass the categories Shop, Decors and Services.

§  Effective immediately, decor samples and advertising materials as well as the VDS PROFI visualisation software can be ordered around the clock under www.egger.com/shop. VDS PROFI is a flexible visualisation software with multiple manufacturer support, which is used as a sales aid for cabinetmakers, flooring installers, interior decorators and all planners in addition to the collection. The EGGER Shop also offers an order history.

§  In the “Decors” section, the decors are now grouped by collections for a clearer structure. A direct input of the decor number or decor name as well as new filtering options make it easier to find the desired decor. Delivery information is consistently provided. Furthermore, decor recommendations provide new design incentives for the customer.

§  Under “Services”, visitors have – among other things – the possibility of free decor visualisation with VDS ONLINE and in some countries information about the EGGER INNOVATIVE partner programme.

INDIVIDUAL SERVICE WITH MYEGGER EXTRANET

EGGER customers can now register for their own, individual page on the EGGER homepage. In the extranet under www.egger.com/myegger, customers are provided with individual access to regular news, customer-specific information and the EGGER Shop. In addition to ordering samples, tools such as the ZOOM collection folder – a sales aid with samples – can be registered under an individual code. All updates to the ZOOM collection are then provided directly and free of charge. In the Trend News, a newsletter available by subscription, current design and material trends are captured and presented in application examples. Trend News also encompasses interesting additional services and promotions. “The internet is the ideal channel for us in order to provide the best possible service to the users of our products,” says Hubert Höglauer. “This is why the possibilities already offered to our customers through myEGGER will be further expanded in the future,” Hubert Höglauer continues.
