Professional Practice
In order to better support all students including EL students, I will incorporate 8 features of SIOP and 3 out of the
4 modalities into 4 out of 5 lessons a week by the end of the third term.
Ms. B has participated in lesson planning discussions around SIOP lessons. She is struggling to meet her goal as stated. Her lesson plans are inconsistent in their use of all three modalities and the incorporation of eight features. / -Some progress
Student Learning
All students in warning category will move up 1 level on the Boston Middle School Rubric for their Open responses.
85% of students testing in warning will move up 2 categories on their Open Responses using the BMS Rubric. They will be assessed through teacher assignments and Anet on a monthly basis and will complete this goal
from October to June.
Ms. B has included references to open response questions in her artifacts, but has not included evidence to show students open response status from the start of the year to date. There is no evidence to support that Ms. B is on track to make her goal. / -Some progress

Chapter 1 when the class should be in Chapter 9 or 10.

Students could not articulate the goal of the lesson. Students answered the 14 questions on the worksheet to the best of their ability. Some completed the task many did not.

Ms. B continues to struggle with keeping to her agenda. The observation lasted for 36 minutes, the class is 50 minutes long and students were only able to complete one item on the agenda during that time.
