Objective / Strategies
☐ To promote system effectiveness through an increased capacity of human resources to support the academic achievement of First Nations students who transition. / ☐ Facilitate a mutual exchange of expertise and services.
☐ Create awareness and understanding of the reality and perspectives of First Nations students.
☐ Facilitate the exchange of information and collaboration between the two systems of education.
☐ To put in place measures that will take into account the linguistic diversity of First Nations students for whom neither English or French is their first language. / ☐ Develop second language learning strategies.
☐ Ensure that the reality of third language is addressed.
☐Identify best practices and promote research in that regards.
☐ To encourage a collaboration between the First Nations and Québec systems of education in relation to educational programming and curriculum. / ☐ Facilitate the creation of links between the educational representatives of the two systems.
☐ Support coordination between First Nations and Québec school curriculums to ensure a smooth student transition.
☐ Encourage the sharing of expertise and curricular services.
☐ To promote the participation of First Nations in collaboration with various authorities in the Quebec educational school system. / ☐ Facilitate First Nations participation under various authorities.
