Institutions
Primary and secondary education providers and degree-granting or certificate-granting learning, teaching or training institutions.
What do we need from you to process an institution order?
- Valid, official purchase order issued from a verified parent entity or the educational entity that will be using the licences OR course outline/supporting documentation on headed paper
- Valid web address
Terms & Conditions for Institution Licenses
- Minimum order of 10 licences
- Please contact if you are interested in plug-ins or our student/graduate volume purchase program
- Website verification and approval from The Foundry Education team will be needed for orders to be processed.
- Training facilities that form a division or department of a commercial facility may not be eligible for educational pricing. Please contact for details.
- Licenses can only be used for education purposes. Any commercial use must be agreed in writing by The Foundry. Individuals that use software bought at a discount under the education program for profit and or on a commercial production will be breaking the terms of the End User Licence Agreement (EULA). This is software piracy.
Students
You are in primary or secondary education or enrolled in a degree-granting or certificate-granting course lasting at least 5 months, which requires attendance of at least two days per week. Licenses for students enrolled in part-time or short courses could be arranged directly with course providers.
What do we need from you to process a student order?
- End User Contact details: Name, address, phone & email
- Official photo ID or Student ID with valid date
- If verified by official school e-mail i.e. student.foundry.ac.uk please provide a copy of the e-mail / screen shot with e-mail address showing
- University document or intranet screenshot detailing student class schedule or course enrolment. Information should show course start and end date or expected graduation date and be officially headed, stamped or show the University emblem.
Graduates
You have recently graduated from a degree-granting or certificate-granting course lasting at least 5 months, requiring attendance of at least two days per week.
What do we need from you to process a graduate order?
- End User Contact details: Name, address, phone & email
- Official photo ID
- University document or intranet screenshot detailing graduate class schedule or course enrolment showing your course start and end date or expected graduation date. Information should be officially headed, stamped or show the University emblem.
Faculty
Eligible faculty members must be employed for 3 days or more per week at a primary or secondary school, degree granting or certificate-granting learning, teaching or training institution.
What do we need from you to process a faculty order?
- End User Contact details: Name, address, phone & email
- Currently dated staff photo ID card OR a copy of a currently dated staff pay slip including employee name and employer name (sensitive details such as pay amounts or social security/NI numbers can be blacked out) OR an official letter of employment OR official school e-mail
Terms & Conditions for Individual Licenses
- Maximum order of 2 licenses per graduate / student / faculty
- Annual licenses expire after 12 months
- Parents, relatives and guardians can purchase for graduates as long as the required education identification documents are provided and contain the graduate's details.
- Licenses can only be used for education purposes. Any commercial use must be agreed in writing by The Foundry. Once you have sent the required education documents to we will verify eligibility for education purchase and the order is then placed as normal through your luxology community web account.
