Education Associate, Center to Advance Palliative Care
The Center to Advance Palliative Care is seeking a new team member to support the development of new training and technical assistance content for clinicians who serve seriously ill patients. This position reports to the Director of Education.
CAPC’s mission is to increase access to high quality palliative care for seriously ill patients across all healthcare settings. Working as a team, the CAPC Education Department manages development of clinical and operational tools and training for palliative care program leaders, clinicians, and healthcare administrations. Products include on-site training sessions, virtual presentations and discussions with field experts, online self-study courses and just-in-time operational tools. CAPC is a national organization serving health systems, community-based providers, and payers across the country to support improved care quality for the high-risk seriously ill patient population.
Responsibilities include:
● Schedule, coordinate, and execute learning events for CAPC audiences nationwide such as webinars, virtual office hours, and clinician mentoring.
● Develop written promotional descriptions of CAPC virtual events.
● Liaise with subject matter experts and palliative care leaders who serve as CAPC faculty.
● Synthesize user feedback from CAPC events to inform new product/content development.
● Manage CAPC content development workgroups to facilitate the production of tools, articles, and training curriculum for palliative care providers.

Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree required.
● Minimum three years of professional experience (relevant experience in health care is preferred).
● Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
● Salesforce experience preferred.
