Qualifications
(General education/further and professional) /
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification, or significant experience and excellent track record.
- Relevant post graduate professional qualification.
Experience
(Previous/current work or any other relevant experience) /
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the training and education sector
- Experience of working to regulatory requirements in relation to the development and maintenance of new and existing qualifications and units
- Managing a portfolio of qualifications
- Experience and comprehensive understanding of the regulatory requirements relating to unit writing, credit levelling and rules of combination
- Excellent understanding of qualification frameworks and the requirements of the qualification regulatory bodies (Ofqual and QAA)
- Experience of writing qualification specifications and developing supporting resources
- Experience of tailoring learning and assessment packages to a broad range of markets
- Good knowledge and understanding of national and regional developments in education and funding policy
- Experience of working to tight deadlinesand objectives within budget.
- Experience of working for an Awarding Organisation
- Experience of working with employers ideally in a qualification development context
- Experience of identifying, deploying and monitoring the work of external consultants where relevant
- Project management experience
- Experience and knowledge of proprietary Regulators systems e.g. RITS
