MEGT Position Description EDN/Campus Sales and Marketing Manager
Objectives of the Division:
The Education Division:
- delivers high quality training services to MEGT Institute and ABILITY English’s clients in the campus, community and workforce
- delivers high quality training and support services to MEGT Institute and ABILITY English’s international clients
- provide employers, staff and those seeking career and higher education pathwaysa supporting environment to foster learning outcomes and develop personal and organisational growth
- to best provide government training funding and assistance to all target cohorts in a fair and responsible manner
- provides a place of employment supporting individual and team growth, encourages ideas, recognises initiative and provides security.
Objectives of the Position:
To manage the marketing and sales of the Melbourne City Campus and the Sydney City Campus as centres for quality education and training. To develop new relationships and business opportunities for Melbourne City Campus and the Sydney City Campus in the International sector. To manage the successful and timely realisation of the MEGT Education Marketing Strategy pertaining to the Melbourne City Campus and the Sydney City Campus.
Relationships:
- Reporting to the MEGT Manager International Education.
- Work closely with other MEGT divisions and all MEGT staff as required.
- Managing theMCC and SCC marketing team, networking with all internal and external stakeholders education agents, RTO’s, ELICOS & VET providers, higher education providers, Government Departments and other external stakeholders as required.

Selection Criteria:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong project management skills
- Qualifications in marketing and or sales
- Qualifications in business management highly regarded
- Experience in a VET Registered Training Organisation sales/marketing role highly regarded
- Experience with sales and marketing in the International Education sector, higher education, vocational training and ELICOS highly regarded
- An understanding of DIBP (Department of Border Protection), DET (Department of Education and Training), ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority), AQF compliance and quality issues
- Computer literate with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and database.

- Demonstrated confidence and skill in driving a team to meet sales targets

- Ability to deliver excellent customer service to both clients and staff

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage the day to day success of the international and domestic marketing sales interests of MEGT Institute and ABILITY English.
- Develop and ensure implementation of all division marketing strategies.
- Contribute to establishing a market-led and sales-focused internal culture.
- Identify business opportunities for MEGT Education.
- Develop and implement communication strategies and procedural systems to meet the MEGT Marketing Strategy goals within targeted timeframes.
- Lead the Campus Marketing team to ensure department policies and procedures are current, adhered to and supportive of business growth.
- Develop the Campus Marketing team through professional development opportunities and mentoring.
- Monitor the sales targets, sales reporting, competitor analysis and return-on-investment tracking systems for the Campus Marketing department, ensuring all KPI’s are achieved.
- Manage the Campus Marketing budget allocation and expenditure.
- Ensure that all policies, procedures, activities and marketing materials are current and compliant at all times.
- Represent MEGT Education at meetings, forums, conferences and launches.
- Provide all required reports to theManager International Education.
- Maintain all administrational responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Successfully manage all members of the Campus Marketing team to work efficiently and effectively with all external and internal stakeholders, and within MEGT Education internal systems and processes.
- Ensure the MEGT Education Marketing Strategy goals are met within targeted timeframes.
- Achieve sales targets.
- Develop new business opportunities for new sales channels.
- Actively foster strong positive relationships between all external stakeholders and the Ability/MEGT brands.
- Ensure compliance and policy procedures are maintained.
- Ensure allotted tasks are performed accurately and in appropriate time frames and at allocated budget.
