EDGEWOOD CHOIR BOOSTERS MINUTES

Monday, July 6, 2015, Edgewood Auditorium

  1. Welcome and Call to order- The meeting was called to order by PresidentAngela Sullivan at 7:07 pm.
  2. Minutes from June Meeting- The minutes were not printed from last month.
  3. Treasure’s Report- The treasurer’s report was submitted by TreasurerJamie Gavern.
    Account payments can be sent to the post office box at PO Box 465, Trenton, Oh.

Dinner Theatre $12,876 income $5,143 expenses for a $7,742 was profit. Please review your statement and let Jamie know of any changes to personal information that may need to be made. Motion to accept the treasurer’s report was made byMarisa Moore, with second byCindy Edens.

  1. Costume Update was made by Libby Wolf, Ben Schneider and Carmen Fields. Gail McGinnis is the costumer that was used. The director’s researched show choirs in the area. The costume fee has not been increased in probably 10 years. Colerain, Ross, Hamilton and Piquapays roughly between $500 –$1000 per student on costumes. Edgewood has typically purchased class B costumes to remain within the costume fee. This year will come out to around $500 with a firm number to come.

Boys will wear jacket with brown elbow pads, dark khaki pants and brown boots.
Girls costume will have a map patternwith long skirt and the skirt will tear away with a sequined green pencil

skirt underneath.
Boy’s costume change black puffy vest with a red long sleeve UnderArmour shirt, dark grey pants and boots.

Girl’s costume change will have a dress in white with a black pattern with red shoes.

  2. First Costume payment is due tonight. We will follow the $350 costume fee for now until the new amount is determined.
  3. All forms are due tonight.
  4. Miscellaneous Fundraisers –July car wash will be cancelled
  5. Important Upcoming Dates
  6. Mum Sale will be August 3 –August 31, 2015. We work with Barn-n-Bunk for the mums. They are very nice mums and are very large. This is a student fundraiser.
  7. Choralier Camp will be August 10 –August 14, 2015 from 5 –9 pm.
  8. Tumbler Fundraiser will be August 12 –August 31, 2015. The tumbler is the shape of a tervis but is not clear. You can order Edgewood or any sports team. This is a student fundraiser.
  9. Choralier picnic at the Baker’s house will be August 16, 2015 from 3:00 –7:00 pm.
  10. Choralier Scavenger Hunt will take place on August 23, 2015. There will be more information on the scavenger hunt at the picnic. There will be an ice cream social at the school after the scavenger hunt.
  11. The second costume payment is due August 3, 2015.
