Edgemere hosts District 13 Dallascity council candidates
dallas, April14, 2009: Edgemere retirement community recently hosted District 13 City Council candidates Brint Ryan and Ann Margolin for a public presentation moderated by Dallas City Hall Reporter Dave Levinthal. John Falldine, managing director of Edgemere, introduced the candidates to attendees. Gene and Mitch Jericho, residents of Edgemere, organized the presentation, which was attended by nearly 100 people.
“Because Edgemere is part of District 13, it is important that residents of Edgemere and residents of the surrounding community have the opportunity to hear the proposals of both candidates so as to have the ability to make an educated decision on Election Day,” said Mrs. Jericho. “There was an excellent turn out at the event.”
Following the presentation, guests participated in a 30- to 45-minute question and answer session. District 13 City Council elections are scheduled for May 9.
