STAFF VACANCIES AT EASTBOURNE
LECTURER A – ACCOUNTING & BUSINESS STUDIES
£22.52 to £23.90 per hour.
AS Accounting (4 hrs – Mon, Wed and Fri), A2 Business (2 hrs 40 min – Mon and Tue), Business Level 2 (1 hr 20 min – Tue). Fixed term, variable hours contract.
We have a vacancy for an inspirational and energetic teacher to join our successful Business team and to deliver on some of our Accounting and Business courses.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with Level 2 and Level 3 learners, experience of delivering A Level Accounting and Business and be an aspirational and innovative individual with excellent classroom management skills. This is an exciting opportunity to support learners with the development of the accounting and business skills they need to progress onto higher level study, setting up their own business, apprenticeships or employment.
Candidates who hold a relevant degree or professional qualification and possess a recognised teaching qualification (or are willing to work towards one) are invited to apply for this post.
This post is subject to a DBS check.
Closing Date: Thursday 25th February 2016 (by noon).
Interviews: Thursday 3rd March 2016.
CHILDCARE ASSESSOR/TUTOR
£15.13 per hour. Fixed term, variable hours contract until July 2016.
Our busy and successful Work-Based Learning team is seeking an Assessor for Childcare. The successful applicant should have experience of working in Childcare settings, including experience in residential settings over a number of years, and should have a comprehensive understanding of the industry and qualifications that support it. A background of assessing isn’t essential but the ability to support and impart own knowledge and current practice is required. Qualifications supporting assessment and tutoring would be desirable.
The post is based at our Eastbourne campus and the job would involve group tutoring and assessment of Childcare apprentices in the workplace throughout East Sussex, so a car and a clean driving licence are essential. This is a new post and it is expected that the successful applicant would also market and promote all relevant Childcare-related courses across the county whilst visiting learners.
This post is subject to a DBS check.
Closing Date: Friday 11th March 2016 (by noon).
