eBook to Go: Transferring from computer to Android phone

To use these instructions, you must have already installed Adobe Digital Editions on your computer, established an Adobe ID, and downloaded the Textbook to your computer.

1. From the Google Play store on your phone, download the “Universal book reader” from mobile systems, Inc.

2. Install the Universal book reader.

3. Open the UB reader.

4. Open the settings (three vertical dots) and choose Adobe ID.

5. Enter the Adobe ID that you created when you set up Adobe Digital Editions on your computer.

6. On your computer, find the file called “ebook to go for The Practice of Statistics” in the Adobe Digital Editions folder in My Documents.

7. Send this file to your phone’s internal memory or SD card (either by USB cable—faster and cheaper—or by email).

8. In the UB reader app, find the three horizontal line segments in the upper left and open this menu. Find the ebook file in the internal memory or SD card and select it. This should add the book to your library in the UB reader.
