Eastway Care aims to facilitate community integration and inclusion for all its clients.

We also aim to empower all our clients via support, training and regular choices.

Another aim of Eastway is to properly meet all our clients’ individual needs by making thorough assessments, ensuring comfortable transition periods, and basing all services on sound Principles, Policies and Procedures.

What Are Our Principles?

Eastway tries to apply the following considerations to every aspect of client care:

  1. To make sure people have privacy and that confidentiality with regard to people’s affairs is maintained at all times.
  1. That people are treated respectfully so that their dignity is maintained.
  1. To enable everybody to maximise their potential for independence within the service, and prepare people for further independence wherever appropriate.

  1. To apply realistic Outcomes to every Support Plan enabling fulfilment.
  1. To accept of forms of individual expression as a means of communication.
  1. To ensure integration and inclusion for everybody in the service and the community.
  1. To offer safe, comfortable and stimulating environments for all of our clients.
  1. To develop our own resources to meet everybody’s needs as much as possible.
  1. To promote good health for everybody via education and the provision of nourishing foods, opportunities for exercise and appropriate health care support, including the administration of prescribed medication.
  1. To provide a service which is sensitive and responsive to different lifestyles, embracing a variety of cultures, religions, backgrounds and circumstances.
