CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order by Bois at 6:30 pm.

Kevyn Welter was present from the Beacon Pointe Condominium Association.
CONSENT AGENDA

Motion by Folks, supported by Reiber to approve the minutes from January 19, 2016.

COMMUNICATIONS
1. MML Liability & Property Pool
A certificate of insurance for the corridor authority was shared from MML Liability & Property Pool. A request was made to have “board members” listed within the comment section of the certificate.
The MML Liability & Property Pool would charge $3500 for a separate insurance policy for the authority and the group would need to request a FEIN and tax identification number. As of now, the authority will be using the City of Flushing’s FEIN and tax identification number.
ANTICIPATED EXPENSES
There were no anticipated expenses for review and or discussion.
NEW BUSINESS
There was no new business for discussion.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Adoption of rules governing the East Pierson Corridor Improvement Authority procedures and the holding of regular meetings, subject to the approval of the Flushing City Council until the next regular meeting.
Motion by Folks, supported by Reiber to adopt the rules governing the East Pierson CIA procedures and the holding of regular meetings, subject to the approval of the Flushing City Council with changes.

CORRIDOR MEMBER COMMENTS
Barrett shared the following:
- an email was sent to the city’s MEDC regional representative
- real property values have been completed by the city assessor and is working on completing the personal property values
- next month’s agenda will include a budget worksheet for FY 2016-2017
- a resolution will be on the Flushing City Council agenda in the future to create the CIA Fund within the city’s chart of accounts
- Kroger’s is working on building a fuel station within the development area
