CLASS 1 CROSS POLES Jumps not to exceed 40cm PC Walk & Trot Dressage Test 2013

CLASS 2 MINIMUS Jumps not to exceed 55cm PC Level D Walk & Trot Test 2012

CLASS 3 NOVICE Jumps not to exceed 70cm PC Introductory Test 2007

CLASS 4 INTERMEDIATE Jumps not to exceed 85cm PC Grassroots Dressage Test 2016

CLASS 5 OPEN Jumps not to exceed 1m PC Novice Eventing Test 2013

Classes will be divided into Adults/Juniors if entries are high.

Dressage tests may be called. Riders may use any bit for the dressage element.

Riders may ride more than one horse or pony, but no horse or pony may go round the course more than once. All horses and ponies must be 5years old and over.

HATS: British PAS 015: 1998 or 2011 provided they are BSI kitemarked VG1 01.040: 2014-12 provided they are BSI Kitemarked European VG1 01.040: 2014-12 provided they are BSI Kitemarked American ASTM F1163: 204a or 04a onwards provided they are SEI marked SNELL E2001 Australian & New Zealand AS/NZS 3838: 2006 onwards provided they are SAI global mark.

BODY PROTECTORS OF BETA LEVEL. THEY MUST BE WORN BY ALL COMPETITORS DURING THE CROSS COUNTRY PHASE. AIR JACKETS MUST BE WORN OVER YOUR BODY PROTECTOR. NO FIXED PEAKS FOR XC.

JUNIORS MUST WEAR A BODYPROTECTOR FOR SHOWJUMPING AND ADULTS ARE STRONGELY ADVISED TO WEAR ONE WHEN SHOWJUMPING.

NO HUMANE GIRTHS ALLOWED FOR XC - Run according to The Pony Club rules 2017.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT A MEDICAL BAND SHOULD BE WORN.

ENTRY FEE: EAPC members £25 Non Members: £30. First Aid £2 per horse.

Entries close Friday 2nd JUNE 2017.

Times will be posted on FACEBOOK - East Aberdeenshire and on our website( - on Wednesday 7th JUNE 2017.

Course will be able to walk from 5pm 10th JUNE 2017.

Dressage and Showjumping will take place in the morning XC will start after showjumping finished. XC will be a pick-a-fence format, and a mixture of XC fences and WH jumps. Showjumps and WH will be at the stated class height.

Dressage scores will be converted into penalties and SJ and XC penalties added on. Lowest score will be the winner.

SJ – knockdown – 5 pens, 1st refusal 10 pens, 2nd refusal 20 pens, 3rd refusal 100 pens. No eliminations but you must move onto the next fence after 3 refusals.

XC – knockdown – 5 pens, 1st refusal 1 pens, 2nd refusal 20 pens, 3rd refusal at same fence 100 pens then you must move onto next fence. Elimination only for horse or rider fall.

The organisers reserve the right to change any horse or pony into another class if they judge that it has been entered unfairly.

Refreshments will be available on the day.

Save for death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers or anyone for who they are in law responsible, neither the organisers, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

The organiser has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all official stewards. There will be no supervision provided in the warm up arena therefore riders/spectators using this arena do so at their own risk, children should be accompanied/supervised by parent or responsible adult.
