Early Years Provider Core Workshop Guide

2017– 2018

Our core workshops:

The workshop core offer is designed to meet the needs of childminder and private and voluntary sector childcare providers working with children aged 0-5+ in the Early Years Foundation stage.

Our aim is to support the development of good quality, innovative practice across the early year’s sector in Sheffield. The workshops are designed to support all early years’ providers in meeting the statutory requirements of the EYFS and the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework.

The workshops offer you the flexibility to determine which sessions would be most beneficial in supporting the continuous professional development of all early year’s practitioners and the ongoing reflective practice and development of your setting.

Bespoke Workshops:

In addition to the core offer, bespoke or tailored workshops will be offered in areas to support development priorities including themes highlighted from recent Ofsted inspections and Children Centre priorities within the Localities.

These will be emailed out via the area Early Years Business Support Team.

As part of the bespoke offer the Early Years Quality Improvement Team may be able to undertake an ITERS, ECERS - 3, FCCERS (for childminders only) or SSTEWaudit within your setting to support the ongoing reflective practice and development of your provision.

Audit requests will be discussed on an individual basis so if this is something you are interested in please contact your area Early Years Quality Improvement Team
