Spring 2013 Playgroups

*Registration is REQUIRED for all play groups as low numbers will result in cancellation of the group. Only those families who have registered will be notified of changes or cancellations.

Pre-School Skills Playgroup

This 6 week program is designed for children aged 2 to 5 years. Those registered in an early education program are welcome to participate. The group will expose children to typical preschool activities in a small group environment. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver. This is a very structured group, so siblings will not be allowed to participate in the group itself. However, we are providing babysitters if you would like to bring your other children with you to CNIB during the group time.

During the playgroup, parents will have an opportunity to meet with our Child and Youth Specialist. Education, support, and resources will be provided with topics related to raising an independent child with vision loss.

Please note that this is a registered program and space is limited. Two playgroups will be offered and each child can only be enrolled in one group. Please register by May 22, 2013. Please contact Nicole Hnatiuk for more information and to register for this group.
