·  Jonathan Bogdewic (son of Rev Chad and Patricia Bogdewic) will have surgery.

·  Continued prayer from Tammy Hay, Connellsville District Administrative Assistant as she continues to recover from a stroke.

·  Continued prayer for Rev Chance & Chelsea Kelosky and their infant daughter.

·  Pastor Janice Davis continues her recovery after an auto accident where suffered injuries to both legs in November.

Greg Spencer is offering Summer Sunset worship services, Sunday nights at Presque Isle State Park, Erie, PA, beach 6 (west, far left side of beach 6). Services occur 30 minutes before the sun sets below the horizon. Services begin July 2 and run through Labor Day Sunday.

COMMUNITY 15 MILE YARD SALE will be on Saturday, August 12th.

Chippewa UMC is seeking a part-time Youth Director. Primary responsibilities include developing, coordinating and implementing youth ministry programs that will include settings where youth can explore their core beliefs, share their faith and learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Looking for a way to stay healthy and fit, try "pickleball" at the Chippewa United Methodist Church, Community Life Center, 118 McMillen Ave, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Our court is available for singles and doubles players of all ages on Mondays from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for the month of July. Beginning in August, our schedule is Monday mornings from 9:30 am to 11 am and Thursday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (except on August 17th). Other court times are available for rental, just call the Community Life Center to schedule. The cost is $5 per player. Please remember you don’t have to be an expert, beginners are welcome. Come and experience fellowship with others by playing Pickleball. Please contact our Community Life Center at 724-843-4032 ext 3 for scheduling, others times, and more information.

The Family Life and Youth Group “Outside Movie Night” is coming to the Community Life Center @ 118 McMillen Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.on July 20th. A Christian concert with local band “Seek” is coming to the Community Life Center @ 118 McMillen Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.on July 20th. The group starts playing/singing at 7 p.m. The concert will end @ 9 p.m. This event is meant to bring believers together, no matter the denomination to praise God. The band is hoping to encourage unity and empower those that attend to reach the world with the gospel message that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. Basketball for boys and girls in kindergarten – 6th grade will begin on August 2nd and continues every Wednesday through August 23rd at our Community Life Center. K through 2nd grade begins on Wednesdays, August 2nd from 6pm - 7:00pm and 3rd through 6th grade begins on Wednesdays, August 2nd from 7pm - 8:00pm. Registrations are based on a first come, first serve basis. The early registration cost is $40 and must be made by July 26 and the late registration cost, after July 26 is $50. Our 3rd annual Back to School Bash will be held on August 16 from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Chippewa United Methodist Church, Community Life Center, 118 McMillen Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. In addition to free haircuts, food and fellowship, there will be several individual and community representatives displaying parent and family resources. Some of the resources include the Beaver County Fire Safety Trailer, Beaver County Child Identification Services, Christian Counseling Associates of Western PA, Usborne Books, Beaver County Farmers Market, Stray Cat Studios, and more. “Comfort by Candelight” with Kathy Troccoli will be held @ the Community Life Center (CLC) @ 118 McMillen Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 on Saturday, August 19. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. with the concert beginning @ 7:00 p.m. A love offering will be taken. Tickets are “free” but must be obtained in advance of the concert. YOUTH 2019

The next national gathering of United Methodist youth will be July 10-14, 2019, in Kansas City, Missouri. Young People’s Ministries, a division of Discipleship Ministries, is announcing details of the event to give churches time to plan for their youth to attend. The national gathering for United Methodist youth takes place every four years. Read press release

Mission u is an annual event offering opportunities for adults, youth and children to grow spiritually, learn about issues affecting society and experience Christian mission in its many forms. New in 2017 is a Mission in Action option; participants will travel to work sites each morning and return to the Cal u campus for afternoon/evening classes or activities.

Youth Mission u for youth in grades 6-12 begins two days before the main event to allow more time for building relationships and serving neighbors through hands-on work.


Mission u is sponsored jointly by the Conference Global Ministries team and the United Methodist Women. Set up as a long weekend at California University of Pennsylvania, it begins on Thursday evening, but the schedule allows for participation for those who can't arrive until Friday. Families are encouraged to attend and discount rates are offered for family members who room together. For more details, click here
