Commercial Production Started of 1st unit – April, 2000, Nature of Product :Odourless white Powder, Main usage of PTA is in the preparation of Synthetic Polyester Fiber, PET Bottles, Audio Video Films, etc. Total Turn over of the Company is around Rs. 3500 Crores

c. Job Responsibility:

  • Assist VP-HSE on Legal Compliance on Health, Safety, Fire & Environment of present Plant & Expansion Project.
  • Development, implementation, monitoring & improvement of Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Management Systems and Fire Fighting Services of present Plantand Expansion Project.
  • Implementation of Construction Safety Procedures & Achievement of major Accident free Project Implementation
  • Having knowledge on TAC, OISD, NBC, NFPA rules & guidelines
  • On-site & Off-site management plan formation. Conducted drill & its observation report. Suggest necessary corrective measure.

Developed & Improved SH&E Policy Standards, Systems & Procedures on Health, Safety & Environment. Developed & Improvedthe entire Fire Hydrant System of the entire Plant (including Expansion Project).

Developed & Implemented at a time ISO 14001: 2004 & OHSAS 18001: 2007. Management system. Successfully Completed ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Course of DNV.

Received 1st position in Environment Excellence Award – 2004 from ICC, 2nd position in SHE Award – 2005 from CII, ER & 3rd Position in National Safety Award – 2006 from National Safety Council of India

Received individual IPCL Award 2004 from Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers for outstanding contributions towards advancement of Safety and Hazard Management in Chemical & Petrochemical Industry.
