2 Part time Teaching Assistants (17.5/15 hrs) to support a child with Special Educational Needs
Hours 17.5hrs/15 hrs (term time only) on Temporary Fixed Term contract.
Grade: PCD 5A (£17,169 - £17,547 PER ANNUM PRO RATA)
Required starting 5th September 2016:
Two enthusiastic, talented Teaching Assistants with SEND experience to join our positive, hard-working and friendly school team to support a child with SEND -learning and behaviour.
These are Temporary Fixed Term contracts (for the duration of the child's EHCP initially to July 2017 ).
The weekly commitment of:
Job 1 17.5 hrs (3.5 hrs each morning)
Job 2 15hrs (3 hrs each afternoon)
Each position includes some hours over the lunch period.
For each post we are looking for a highly motivated TA who:-
· Has relevant experience and qualifications -at least NVQ L2 and experience to meet the needs of a young pupil with Special Needs which impact on behaviour and learning.
· Is a self-motivated and an outstanding team player, able to work both independently and collaboratively with all members of the school team.
· Has experience of working with pupils in KS1.
· Is patient, calm and able to adapt learning tasks to suit individual learning styles.
· Has skills to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues working with the child.
We are a Church of England Primary School with a distinctive Christian ethos and strong links with our local church and the community of Grange over Sands.
Visits to school to school are welcomed; please ring to arrange a suitable time.
