Organization Profile
The PSBCT was created in 2014 to allow Sheridan Students to learn and develop various skill sets through local, national and global case competitions. Members benchmark their skills against the best students nationally or globally, network with the best employers worldwide, and develop skills to gain a competitive advantage in applying for jobs. Members partake in weekly training to learn from business cases, Sheridan professors and industry experts.
Job Profile
The President is responsible for coordinating and collaborating with all parties associated with the PSBCT to ensure continuity and completion of all projects and initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for identifying areas of improvement and developing action plans to assist in the continued growth and development of the PSBCT. The President will coordinate with the Vice President Internal to ensure successful implementation of the PSBCT workshops and marketing initiatives. The President will also coordinate with the Vice President External to ensure proper communication to faculty and third parties as well as facilitation of competition tryouts and logistics.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Set out expectations and deadlines for the 2017-2018 year with the Faculty Advisor and Vice Presidents.
· Develop an action plan with the Faculty Advisor & Vice Presidents on identifying how to mitigate or resolve issues.
· Actively search for and identify new sponsorships and partnership opportunities to expand the PSBCT.
· Approve all Vice President Proposals & deliverables that are consistent with the PSBCT mission and vision.
· Facilitate & attend weekly executive meetings for new proposals and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
· Collaborate with the Vice Presidents & the Faculty Advisor on competition expectations and tryout strategies.
· Support all team members by confirming that they are meeting expectations and their needs are met.
· Assist in Talent Acquisition of the Executive team for March/April 2018.
· Generate a report at year’s end (April 2018) recommending new club improvements for the future executive team.

· A Sheridan student with a recommended minimum GPA of 2.5
