Studio Assistant, General Manager, 30 hours per week over 5 days Monday to Saturday with evenings and Sundays where applicable

Location: Southwark, London
Contract length: Permanent, full time
Salary: £20,000 pa

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES (including but not limited to:)

BOOKINGS

•Deal with all booking enquiries, and pencil bookings where applicable

• Input studio bookings onto the system – MATRIX – and keep all bookings entered

correctly andup to date

•Draft booking contracts where necessary, ensuring signed copies are returned and logged

•Liaise with General Manager over booking rates and discounts where applicable

•Source new contacts and potential bookings, to maximise the potential of the studios

•Create and maintain a booking database of current and potential clients

•Contact Clients to confirm or release studio holds

FINANCIAL

•When required raise deposit and final payment invoices, sending to client and ensuring

promptpayments are made

•Raise ‘incidentals’ invoices for studio extras such as water, photocopying etc.…

•Issue quotes to clients for studio hire

•Assist the General Manager with any financial, legal or insurance requirements

GENERAL

• Ensure all council and business related requirements are fulfilled and the studios adhere

to relevant planning permissions

•Keep track of all health and safety requirements, and ensure the studios meet minimum

regulations

•Ensure building is properly maintained, and kept in good presentable condition, keep track

of studio assets and ensure studios are kept in good working order

• Keep maintenance log and contact contractors when required for maintenance work,

dealing with handy man, electrician, plumbers, cleaner, security etc.

•Deal with all suppliers including cleaners, maintenance contractors

•Keep all confidential and personnel information secure and follow correct data protection

protocol
