• Conduct internal progress meeting as well as attending conference call with Houston project team every week for job updates.

• Overseeing the development and implementation of quality assurance processes to maintain proper product functionality on weldingand quality as well as documentation and MRB compilation.
• Survey on Aker Sub Vendor facilities e.g. machining of the Boxes / Receptacle, Guide Plates, Clamps and etc.

• Main task and single contact point for client as well as Transocean sub vendor for deliveryof the free issue items.

• Expedite project and recommend solution to speed up the project delivery date.

• Carry out material inspection and verification on the heat no as per mill certificate.

• Monitor and witness wall thickness measurement / inspection (for plate, pipe, and tubes).

• Monitor and witness dimensional inspection and verification as per cutting plan and uponcompletion of welding.

• Monitor welding and in progress welding surveillance.

• Witness WPS, PQR and WQT qualification as per contractual codes & specifications.

• Witness FAT e.g. Three joint test, Lifting clamps load test, Hydro test, Stab test, and testingsuch as PMI, Surface NDT and etc.

• Verify / monitor Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) activity and review / approve the chart & report.

• Inspection exercised to perform an independent assessment of the condition of inspection item of specific time interval in order to determine the integrity from point of view of safety and fitness for use at specific design condition. The method of assessment will normally confine to physical thorough visual examination, supplemented by non-destructive test.

• Responsible for providing technical assistances to Client, Monitoring, Inspection, Co-ordination, Expediting and Presenting information to Client in their Technical area.

• Review fabrication documentation which includes WPS, PQR, Welder qualification, relevant drawing, mill certificates, NDE & PWHT report, Procedures, Inspection report and etc. Any repair or modification which will constitute an important input with regards to final decision on the acceptance of the proposed repair or modification, which effect the integrity upon completion of thorough visual examination a professional judgment about the condition of inspected item to be forwarded to client in the standard report format.

• Witnessed and endorsed welding procedure qualification test (WPQT) and welder performance qualification test (WQT).

• Review radiography film & report witness Mechanical Test for WPQT, WQT, Process Piping, Pressure Vessel and other welding works as well.

• Inspect Pressure Vessel which newly fabricated and witness Hydrostatic test.

• Verify equipment used in the inspection and informed the result to the vender as well as to client.

• Managing and direct QC department and to guide the mechanical engineers to meet the quality standards

• Review inspection records, suggesting and recommend for the findings of deterioration or defect that might have an impact in quality. Suggest method of repair if required to be undertake prior to further and follow-up to ascertain that fabrications accordance with codes acceptance, standards and specifications.
