Many thanks to everyone who supported our Christmas Craft Fair on the 30th November which raised £171.70 and our Christmas Hub on the 13th December which raised £95.55. This money will help pay for the paper and ink that we use to print 380 copies of the Dunston Dossier each month for delivery to you free of charge. Thanks also to Shannon & Abby who raised £60 for Children in Need with their cake stall.

No Hub in January because of renovation work at the Village Hall.

The next Hub will be a Valentine Special on Thursday 13th February.

Dance Taster Sessions. Sunday 5th January2014 2 to 4 pm

Come along to the Village Hall on Sunday 5th January from 2 pm to 4 pm for a Family Dance Taster Workshop with Sally-anne McWilliam of “What About Me Theatre Arts”. Suitable for all ages from 4 to adult. Admission is FREE courtesy of a Lincolnshire Co-op Community Champions Grant.

Dunston Village Hallclosed for structural repairs for one week from 8 am on 6th to 5pm on 13th January 2014.

The Main Hall will be back in use for regular activities from 5 pm on Monday 13th January starting with the new Pilates Class at 5.30pm.

The Post Office will re-open on Thursday 16th January 2.30 pm to 4pm.The Lamyman Room may be closed for longer.

The next Dunston Hub will be on Thursday 13th February.

Dunston St Peter’s School

Closing datefor applications for theSept 2014 Intake for Reception Class is 12 noon on Wed 15th Jan 2014.

Can you help? The school is looking for some help with the children for their gardening club, starting in New Year.

IDEAS have prepared an interesting, varied series of events for Spring.

  • A Concert by the Sleaford Ukulele Orchestra
  • A Nostalgia Night
  • An Evening with a Medium.

Thanks to everyone who supported us by donating to the Carol Singing around the village which raised over £200 for play equipment.
