· Portmagee Christmas Day Charity Swim takes place at Cnuicin pier at 12 noon. All proceeds going to the Kerry Hospice Palliative of Care. New swimmers always welcome.
· Scoil an Ghleanna would like to thank the Board of Management, parents association, parents, children and all who kindly supported and assisted the school throughout 2015. We wish you all a Happy Christmas & New Year.
· Children's choir at 10am mass in the Glen on Sunday 20th Dec. All primary school children welcome to join.
· Céile mór na Nollag in Ballinskelligs Community Centre on Tuesday 15th of December. Music by the Abbey Céile band, dancing from 9.00pm-12.00pm.
· Ballinskelligs' recently formed Active Retirement group, Sceilg le Chéile, will have their next meeting on Wed Dec 16 at 11:00am. Please join us at this meeting to help plan upcoming trips activities. New members are very welcome.
· Be Aware Prevent Suicide is posting 56,000 free copies of ‘Minding Our Minds: A Guide to Supports and Services’ to Kerry homes this week to promote mental wellness.
· Bishop Ray will open the Holy Door of Mercy in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney on Sunday Dec 13th at 5pm. Everyone is invited to the ceremony, which will include the celebration of Mass, as we begin the Year of Mercy in the diocese. For more information, www.dioceseofkerry.ie
