Intended Learning Outcomes

Delegates will be able to :

•describe why children may be vulnerable and in need of help or protection

•identify and recognise the signs and indicators of child abuse or neglect

•respond appropriately to concerns about children following local and national policy

•explain that children’s welfare is paramount and it is everyone’s responsibility to protect them

•understand who to contact for advice
