Dear Parents,
To inculcate love for reading and to harbour the spirit of exploration amongst the childrento improve the vocabulary and language skills especially English speaking and writing, the school is continuing with special programme of education through newspapers. Newspaper reading is a part of‘Subject Enrichment Activity’, which is mandatory, as per CBSE circular No.: Acad-05/2017 dated 31-01-2017. This programme entails subscription of the ‘The Times of India’.Thechildren will be the members of NIE group by paying Rs 350/-(Please tender exact cash) on or before 9th April’ 2018 positively. The students will receive this newspaper from Monday to Friday for all working days for sevenand a half months from 10th April’ 18till the mid of February’19, excluding holidays and examination days.
This group organizes various seminars, interactive sessions, workshops, industrial and institutional visits. The school, in association with NIE, will organize many programmes and activities to help your ward increase his/her vocabulary and knowledge. The newspaper reading will be made compulsory in the ZERO period and activity related with newspaper will also be conducted.
