Ducab cables powers Office of the Future
Emirati manufacturer supplies cables to breakthrough building
Dubai, UAE; June xx, 2016: Ducab, the UAE-based leading manufacturer of high-quality cables and cabling products, is proud to be playing a part in the growth of the UAE as an incubator of innovation and future technology, by supplying the ‘Office of the Future’ with approximately 10km of cables and wires. Owned equally by Investment Corporation Dubai (ICD) and Abu Dhabi’s Senaat, Ducab has been at the forefront of innovation through tailor-made solutions for sustainable projects such as this.
The Office of the Future, the world’s first entirely 3D-printed office, was recently launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Ducab is connecting the Office of the Future with a wide range of cable products, including LPCB approved FlamBICC Fire Performance cables, TUFF DuFlex heat resistant flexible cables, and the Ducab Connect range of cable accessories that complement the latest technology showcased by the building.

Ducab’s products are technologically advanced and adhere to strict global standards. FlamBICC Fire Performance cables are proven to improve safety, reduce fire damages to buildings or equipment and provide extra time to escape in the case of a fire and the TUFF DuFlex heat resistant flexible cables operate in stringent temperature conditions ranging from -40 to 105 degrees Celsius.
Ducab’s range of products have been specified in many projects in the UAE, such as Abu Dhabi Airport’s Midfield Terminal Building, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation’s Al Barakah nuclear plants, Dubai Metro, and more.

When complete, the new plant located in Kizad, AD, will manufacture Electrical Conductive (EC) grade aluminum alloy rods, wires, and bare overhead conductors
