Short description of the application (purpose and motivation)
I would like to thank the committee for the consideration of my application for the NFOG clinical visit travel grant.
I will visit the University Hospital of Bonn, which is a tertiary referral academic teaching hospital associated with the University of Bonn. The clinical visit will take place from the 1st of April to the 29th of April.
As a senior obstetrician with the subspecialty in fetal and maternal medicine, I would like to expand my horizons and take the opportunity to observe the work in one of the big units for fetal and maternal medicine in central Europe. I have through this visit the possibility to observe the work of Professor Gembruch one of the pioneers in fetal medicine in central Europe and to improve my skills. I hope that I will be able to share my expertise of the Finnish healthcare system and to introduce after the visit new ideas and technics to our department.

Sincerely
Georg Macharey
